Team Photo Sharing


Parents take the best pictures! The team has created a group photo sharing site where anyone who is a group member can post photos. This is a new feature of Snapfish and it allows you to add comments, upload your own photos, purchase them or save them to print at home or elsewhere. Check it out at http://uppercountydolphins.snapfish.com/snapfish

We would like to have an album on Snapfish for each meet or social event. Then parents could upload their personal pictures for that event into one album. The group room is private so once you use the link above to get to the Upper County Dolphins group room you will have to enter the room code. The snapfish room code was be sent out via our google group email.

You will need to create a Snapfish account if you do not have one. For those of you that are concerned about spam and viruses, Snapfish is a legitimate website sponsored by HP. I have had an account for several years and get no spam as a result of my Snapfish account.

Home A Meet Programs

The Upper County Swim Team Handbook will be available to print from our website and we will print only a small number of copies for new families.

This year UCD will be hosting two Home A Meets and we will be including a PDF version of the program in an email to our google group and it will also be posted on our website. We have discussed this new green plan with the visiting teams and they are also excited to participate with us as we go GREEN.

Online Volunteer Sign Up via

For the first time ever we are using an online volunteer sign up program.

SignUpGenius is a FREE online tool for creating and managing group sign up lists.

Some of the benefits are:

• Parents can instantly see what jobs are available for each event
• It has “Swapping” ability for unexpected schedule changes
• You will get automated email reminders
• Event hard copies can be created for volunteer check in
• A report can be generated to track obligations by family

How It Works:
It’s fast and easy!

• Our volunteer coordinator, Lauren Mannella, will invite you to join the Upper County Dolphins Swim Team private sign up lists at www.signupgenius.com.

• You will register as a new user with your family email address and password.

• You will be directed to the page “My Signups” which will list the sign ups you have been invited to. Sign Up’s include one for A meets, one for B meets and one for our social events.

• Click on the sign up of your choice. Review the job options, choose, and click the “sign up” button.
• Review the job details, write the full name of the person who is working in the “comments” box and click “sign up”. You are done!
• The system will email you a reminder a few days before your event.
